CPW and New Captains

Come meet the MIT Cheerleaders during CPW!

We will be welcoming the class of 2011 at the following events:
Athletics Fair (Friday April 13) 2pm - 4 pm
Activities Midway (Saturday April 14) 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The cheerleaders will also be performing at AXO LipSync later this month (April 28). This will be the last event of the season. We will be welcoming the new season next Fall, please check back for information about tryouts as the time gets closer. Congratulations to the 2007-2008 captains: Chris Chronopoulos and Shannon O'Connell!

Cheerleading Tryouts

Tryouts will be held this coming Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the following times:
Sunday 12-3 pm
Monday 2-5 pm
Tuesday 8-10 pm

We will be meeting in the gymnastics room in the duPont Athletics Center. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You can find more information about tryouts here.

End of Season

Thanks to everyone who made this a great year for MIT Cheer! We'd like to announce our new officers for the 2006-2007 school year:

The season may be over, but we will be back next year in full force. If you are interested in seeing what MIT Cheer is all about, please contact us. Details regarding Fall recruiting will be posted on our website later this summer.

Finally, Morgan will be holding Cheer camp for ESP (and any interested MIT affiliates) who are here over the summer. So stay tuned for updates!

The Tech - Erratum

MIT Cheer thanks The Tech for running a picture of one of us in the September 6th issue. Extra props to Brian Hemond for taking the lovely photo amidst all the chaos that was the Activities Midway. The photo caption should have credited Gracie Chou '05, who was co-captain of the team in 2003, and is now an alum.
